ALL HANDS IN
CYCLING EVENT
Are you interested in cycling?
Next month All Hands
In will
begin hosting cycling
events and attending events
hosted by other cycling
organizations.
Josh Welhener, Community Outreach
Coordinator is going to build a
text
message group to communicate
updates for anyone that is
interested. Please let him
know if you would like to be
added or if you have any
questions.
Last year was our first year
doing this and it was pretty
successful. We would love
for more people to join us!!
Anyone is welcome so please make
sure to tell the
people in your life!

OLYMPICS SOCCER PRACTICE
Practices will be held starting
on Tuesday, April 16. All weekly
practice days
will be Tuesday and Thursday.
This will go through late June
when we will
compete in the S.O. State
competition.

SPECIAL
OLYMPICS TRACK INVITATIONAL
**All athletes must be at
Centerville High School by 8:00am
for registration. Also, if we do
not have a current physical for
your athlete by the event, they
will not be able to compete, so
make sure to get those in**
Once your athletes are done with
all of their events, you may take
them and leave if you would like.
**You must check with a coach
first to make sure all events are
done and tell them you and your
athletes are leaving**
Please wear your red Huber
Heights shirts for this event. If
you do not have a Huber Heights
shirt yet, please wear a red
t-shirt.
**If you would like to order a
Huber Heights shirt, you can
order one from Wayne Sporting
Goods in Huber Heights. Just tell
them you would like to order a
Hubert Heights Special Olympics
Track Shirt, they should know the
correct design but if you have
any issues let me know**
Last year the concession stand
was not open, so please eat a
good breakfast before you arrive
and either pack a lunch or plan
on picking up lunch for your
athlete nearby.
**Please only drink water before
your event**

2024 SPECIAL
OLYMPICS TRACK & FIELD
PRACTICE
We will be having
our first track practice on
Thursday, March 14, 2024 at 6pm.
Practice will end at 7pm.
Practice will be at Shullgate
Park (6045 Shull Rd, Huber
Heights, OH 45424).Going forward,
practices will be every Tuesday
and Thursday each week, 6pm -
7pm. For now we will practice at
the park, later when the Wayne
High School track is available,
we will move practices to there,
you will be informed when that
happens.
Please dress appropriately for
the weather and bring water to
each practice. If it is below
50°F outside or it is currently
raining, there will be no
practice. A notice will be sent
out when practice is cancelled. Parents
and guardians must be on time to
pick up their athletes at the end
of practice.
Your athlete must have a current
physical on file to practice and
take part in events. Please check
with the coaches if you are
unsure if your athlete's physical
is current.
